About Heritage Institute of Language Arts was established by Mr. Soo-Yong Joo. Our school is composed of two foreign(native)teachers and two Korean teachers. We have students that range in age from elementary(beginner) up to middle school(intermediate/advanced). Because of our small size, the school environment is much like family and Mr. Joo and his wife do an amazing job and take very good care of their teachers and students.

We are located in Deuncheon-dong, Kangseo-gu, Seoul, Korea. This area is on the southwest side of the Han River. This area is very close to Balsan Station (line 5?, purple) and Dangsan Station (line 2, green). We are 20 minutes from Hondae/Sinchon which is a popular foreigner area on weekends. We are 30-45 minutes away from both Itaewon and Gangnam, also very popular areas for foreigners.

Our program is well-organized and all teaching supplies and materials are provided by the school. There is very little preparation, and there is lots of freedom to expand on different areas for lessons. We have an excellent directory of worksheets, lesson plans, activities and resources to plan additionally for classes.
