Depending on where you are willing to work, you will be able to save a considerate amount of money while teaching. You do not have to worry about where you will be placed because once you are accepted into the GEPIK program you will be placed in a position based on your preferences! Another great benefit to teaching with GEPIK is that although teachers will be required to work from 9am-5pm their teaching hours will not exceed 22 hours per week, if you are asked to teach extra hours they will not exceed 6 hours per day and you will receive overtime compensation.
Benefits
1. Salary: 2.1Mill ~ 2.3Mill. KRW (overtime : 20,000 KRW/ h)
2. Work Hours: 9am-5pm Monday ~ Friday
3. Teaching Hours: not exceed 22 hours per week
4. Paid Leave: 20 working days + Korean National Holidays
5. Severance Pay: YES
6. National Health Insurance: 50 %
7. Settlement Allowance: 300,000 KRW
8. Housing: Full furnished Single Studio or Housing Allowance available (400,000 KRW per month)
9. Airfare: A Round Trip (reimbursed)

11. Orientation and Training
12. Bonus for teaching in a Rural Area: 100,000 KRW every month plus an additional 5 paid vacation days per year.

Requirements:

- BA/BS Degree (minimum 3-4 year degree)
