Pagoda Academy is currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team here at our headquarters in Kangnam.
This position in open to Korean citizens or Gyopo candidates only.
Pagoda founded in 1969 by Go In-Gyung and Park Kyung-Sil with the objective of developing foreign language education in Korea. Pagoda has grown considerably since then and currently employs over 150 foreign teachers who teach over 5000 students each month at 6 branches. Pagoda has a further 40,000 students each month taking TOEIC, TOEFL, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish and other classes.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
manage marketing plans and projects
monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
determine and manage the marketing budget
deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
develop pricing strategy
liaison with media and advertising
Education and Experience
fluent in Korean and very strong English
degree from an accredited 4-year University
MBA degree preferred
business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
over 5 years working experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
experience with education industry preferred
