Concerning the position :
The international school is populated by students who are there given their exceptional educational background. They are very, very bright. You would be working alongside 1 other dedicated English native teacher & other dedicated Korean public school teachers.
They are looking for two exceptional candidates for this role (1 FT & 1 PT), & who meet the following conditions :
• From a western country who is in their 30's for the FT. An F2 or F4 visa holder for the PT.
• The FT needs to have a Bachelor in one of the following majors : physics, maths or chemistry. The PT needs a Bachelor in Business / International Relations / International Politics.
• Preference to have a Master in a related field.
• Preference to have relevant experience.
You would be teaching the subject(s) that you majored in.
FT 3.0m won per month. PT 80k per hour. PT receives no other benefit.
Tax
:
In accordance with Korean Tax laws. American & South African citizens are able to become tax exempt for 2 years. Other countries can too, but you must pay income tax in your home country if you supply the required residency certificate, therefore making it better to pay tax in South Korea. Canadian & Irish citizens cannot become tax exempt in South Korea. PT employee must pay income tax.
Pay day
:
25th of each month, no exception.
Settlement allowance
:
300,000 won onetime payment.
Vacation
:
18 working paid days.
Natioanal holidays
:
Yes & paid for.
Flights
:
1,300,000won provided for inbound flight & 1,300,000won provided for outbound flight. If your flight is less, you save the difference!
Housing
:
Single furnished, rent-free provided.
Medical
:
50% contributed by your employer, 50% contributed by you.

Gyeongsangnamdo is the most southeastern province. There is an international airport & a KTX train (which only takes1hr & 2.5hrs to Seoul, respectively.) In terms of climate, it is one of the warmest places throughout the country.
We have a contract direct with the Gyeongsangnamdo Office of Education in Changwon, so unlike EPIK - we would know the location that you would go to, the name of the school & be able to get other important information that is crucial to you.
Their recruitment procedure is unique. With this education office, your resume is the most valuable component of how you become successfully chosen. The better your resume, the better your chance.
