Starting Date: 3rd week of February, 2010
Public School Jobs = Recession Proof Jobs. The Positions filling very quickly now!!

We work with the Ministries of Education in Korea to place English Language Instructors in teaching jobs at public schools in Korea through the renowned EPIK program. - Contract period: Feb. 26th, 2010~ Feb, 25th, 2011.
- Working days: Monday - Friday
- Working hours: 8.30AM - 4.30PM
- Total hours: 22 classes per week (so 3 or 4 classes per day)
- Student level: Elementary, Middle or High School

Benefits)
- 1.9 - 2.7 Million Won (depending on above payment scale)
- 100,000 KRW Rural allowance + 100,000KRW Provincial allowance

- Entrance Allowance: 1,300,000 Korean Won (KRW)
- Settlement Allowance - 300,000 KRW
-Exit Allowance: 1,300,000 Korean Won (KRW)
-Renewal Allowance: 2,000,000 KRW
-18 Paid Leave+ 12 national holidays
-Special Leave; Seven (7) Calendar days for Employee's marriage. Seven (7) calendar days for the death of Employee's parent or spouse, Five (5) calendar days for the death of Employee's child, Incase of a female Employee, up to ninety (90) calendar days for a maternity leave.
-Sick Leave: Eleven (11) working days per contract.
- 22 hour class teaching required per week
- Overtime pay
- Severance pay (equal to 1 month's salary)
- Free apartment
- Tax exemption for 2 years apart from Canadians due to lack of ROK
Treaty
- Compulsory medical insurance - 50% of premiums paid by employer
- National Pension scheme - 50% of contributions paid by employer
- Full orientation in a Korean resort area

*ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

You must be:
* holding a Bachelor's degree
* holding a passport from one of the 7 English Speaking countries (US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa)
* completed at least 10 years of education in one of these countries from Middle school
* excellent health
* clear of any criminal records (DUI is not acceptable)
* able to submit all visa documents by December 1st
*age must be under 50 years old
