A school in Cheongju City is looking for a female teacher from ANY COUNTRY* to begin ASAP. Americans and Canadians have the option of pension program which residents of countries that are not eligible for pension refunds are not required to pay into it.

Salary: 2.1-2.3 based on experience and qualifications
Overtime: 20,000 won per hour (standard)
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri from 2:00pm - 9:00pm
Teaching Hours: 120 per month (standard)
Students: Elementary - Adult
Classes: 50 minutes, about 6 students per class
Paid Vacation: 10 days plus national holidays (standard)
Medical Insurance: 50%
Pension: 50% (great for Canadians and not common with hagwon positions)
Severance Pay: 1 month
Airfare: Prepaid
Other Teachers: 2 Korean, 1 Foreigner
*Applicants must be citizens of the US, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
Cheongju is a medium-sized city with all of your daily necessities, but not a huge metropolitan area like Seoul or Busan. It does have an international airport and large train and bus terminals, making it easy to get around the country. We also have several female teachers from the US there with one more scheduled to arrive at the beginning of December, so you would be able to meet people easily. We can put interested applicants in contact with our teachers in the city.
The pros of this job included prepaid airfare (many schools reimburse a teacher for their ticket after they arrive in Korea), pension plan for Canadians & Americans where you and the school each pay about 4.5% of your monthly salary each month and you get all of it back at the end of the year (most hagwons do not offer this), good work schedule of 7 hours per day, and low class sized (usually between 6-12 at hagwons), and variety of student levels.
