Hiring Full-time Instructors for Both Schools, July 1st starting date
P/T positions available NOW for those with F2, F4, and E2 (non-hagwon only) visas
YBM PREMIER Speaking Center for adults, the latest concept in the YBM family of schools, is located in the city centers of Seoul: our flagship school in Jongno and our newest, soon to open in Gangnam! YBM PREMIER provides core and specialty courses, small class size, set curriculum, daily student assessment, and the finest facilities and technology. We are rapidly expanding and seek additional Premier instructors to join us in the upcoming months!
BENEFITS [Full-time only]:
● Salary (based on qualifications): 2.6~2.9mil / month; includes 400,000 housing allowance
● Additional income for those with graduate degrees in Linguistics or TESOL
● Hours: Monday to Friday, average of 4 classes per day, total of 80 classes per month
● Potential income to 3.8 mil / mo with overtime
● Overtime / part-time rates: per class, 32,000 (Mon-Fri) ~ 40,000 (Saturday)
● Housing key money; staff assistance in locating housing
● Round-trip airfare, pre-paid; for those hired from within Korea: round-trip to Japan plus one-way to home country at end of contract
● Severance pay: one month’s base salary
● Visa processing costs reimbursed: visa application, criminal background check, medical examination (in Korea)
● Medical and pension: 50% employee, 50% employer
● 10 Session Vacation days (spaced evenly throughout the year; non-discretionary)
● All national holidays
● Quarterly performance bonus potential
● 50% tuition reduction on YBM’s Korean / Japanese language classes
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Citizenship (to qualify for E2 visa): US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa
● Education: Undergraduate degree (4-year)
● Relevant Major (English, Education, TESOL, Linguistics; Business) and / or Teaching Certificate (CELTA, TESOL, TEFL)
● Experience: One year of full-time teaching experience required
